The law library is open to the public.  You do not need to be a law student to enter the law library.  Please note that you do need to be a current FIU Law student to check out a study room.

You will have access to most of our print materials.  In addition, you will also have access to most of our electronic legal databases.  The two main exceptions are Westlaw and Lexis.   These two require that you be a currently enrolled FIU Law student with a valid password.  If you are interested in using a particular database, please let a librarian know.  They can assist in placing you at a public access computer located inside the law library.
