Lexis Digital Library Access Instructions 


Some users are experiencing problems connecting to Lexis Digital Library. Follow these instructions to login to LDL.   

Instructions: 

 

  • Step 1: Access Lexis Digital Library from the Law Library’s A-Z List. by clicking on  “L” and scrolling down to the entry for Lexis Digital Library
  • Step 2: Click the red “Sign In” button and select “Florida International University” on the next page. 
  • Step 3: Log in using your student FIU Credentials 


If you are still unable to access, please try again on a different web browser or use one of the links below to help you clear your cache in the browser in which you wish to access.

If you are still unable to access after going through the above steps, please fill out the Ask a Law Librarian form with more details about the issue you are experiencing.

Answer – There are multiple reasons why LDL may not be working, some of which may have been resolved since you last tried. We understand your frustration. 

“I want to read offline- how?” 

You can print a selection and save it as a PDF, or download the app. To use the app: 

  • Download the LexisNexis Digital Library App 
  • Enter the library code: fiu 
  • Click “sign in” and then sign in using your FIU credentials 
  • If you are connected to the internet, titles will download automatically.  If you are on a data connection, you may manually download by clicking on the cloud icon displayed under each of your titles.
