Q. Can PhD students, undergraduates, or students from other departments get access to Lexis Advance, Westlaw or Bloomberg?
Access to the legal database services, i.e. Lexis Advance, Bloomberg, and Westlaw, is only available to currently enrolled law students. Members of the public can still use these services, but would have to purchase an individual subscription.
The Green Library provides access to another Lexis database which provides much comparable material. It is called LexisNexis / Nexis Uni. It is available at the A-Z database list at the link below. If you are on campus, it should let you right through. If you are away from campus it may ask for your FIU credentials. These are the same username and password you use to access your FIU email.
